You'll both absolutely love it, once you get used to the loose feeling of being off the black stuff. Really makes you grin.

I think it would certainly be useful to be able to discuss issues about particular byeways, in particular where there is a dispute, say, between rider :( and land occupier :( or other stakeholder :unsure: . It would provide a central repository for thought :dry: and potentially improve stakeholders...

Hi there, don't know if this helps, but ORPAs (other routes with public access) are open to vehicular access. They won't be listed as byways quite often, but email your council to confirm.

Go for it. You'll love it. 250 thumper is the way to go.

I have been to practice days after buying an XR400 last May. Some of the descents still scare the life out of me, especially with my heavy old girl, but then that's half the fun!
