My k 1600 on a pcp do 20000 miles a year on it.You agree total
Miles with the dealer as part of the pcp got 50000 agreed in mine
My engine went and it was a huge bill sorted by Bm
If you want a new bike look at a pcp
You could put 3000 down pay 110 a month for 2 years still have 4500

Used german ADAC for years excellent cover throughout Europe Inc repatriation
No problem in UK they sub contract AA recovered my car last week off m62

Ride a k 1600 nothing else comes close
Really coming down in price get a warranty
Done 21000 miles on min in 12 months carnt stop riding it
Really is good fun and does boring long miles with ease

To be fair to Bm dealers all my probs have been sorted quickly
And with minimal fuss
The Bm recovery is excellent and 300 pounds per year for an extended
Warranty and euro wide breakdown isn't that bad.
Bm have sold 100000 of gs worldwide more than any other bike maker
So there will be more ...

Love Bmws really great bikes to ride but s.it are they unreliable
2005 gs fpc final drive right hand injector 2007 gsa final drive clutch
Gone in under 24000 miles k 1600 total engine rebuild and new rad
In under 28000 miles
Wife's 2005 gs fpc had bearings and seals on final drive checked

Forget AA or RAC tyre or maps our ce use moto go loco designed
By bikers for bikers laptops or towers only at the moment
Not mobile friendly but an excellent easy to use mapping system download
Straight to your tom tom or garmin device.
I have no links to the owners it's just good

Spoke with moto go loco owner/inventor this morning
If you go onto the site and plan your routes you can send them
To him he will look at them and suggest updates or corrections
Ie never put a route to a town center unless you really want to go there
Satnav planning will assume you want to go ...

Try moto go loco it's a simple to use route planning app that's free
It's uses a form of Google maps it's click to plan and also has street
View and a reverse route option.

It already has some route stored on it via another ride mag.
It can be used for garmin or tom tom
