Not so much ability mate, just swap your torch and earth leads about. Won't work with standard polarity

I had the AC/DC welder idea as well but decided I'll save that for later.
Rental/welding shops often have stuff that was traded in on offer so you can get good/checked equipment for less.

For the money, these are axceptional. Many will tell you to stick with the bigger names but I've used their kit for years with no major issues ...
