Re: The RAC and the motorcyclist

I had a long wait for the RAC about 4 years ago when I had a puncture on my Transalp 650 (that I brought from Bob many years earlier). I had been to a club meeting near Stroud when the type went flat quickly. Phoned RAC at 7:30 ish they will be round within the hour so sat and waited, and waited, ea...

Re: 20 MPH default speed limit in Wales

We think we saw the correct motorcycles for Wales today, Cyclemaster and BSA winged wheel powered bicycles, are unlikely to exceed the speed limit. They had come to our meeting today doing about 15 miles, mixing with another bike of the same era - Vincent Black Shadow ! and more modern Triumphs, Hon...

Re: this guy's videos get better and better

I had an Ascot twice, brought it from an importer in 2000 ish kept it a few years and sold it locally. Saw it advertised locally (2012?) and bought it back and ran it for another couple of years and sold it on again. Recently I saw it at a Bideford Bike Day (2019?) then painted all black and rather ...

Re: Peter Hammond Motorcycles

I think Completely took over Skellerns perhaps they transferred the Yamaha franchise to Staverton, always thought of Skellerns as Honda dealers, used to get some Black Bomber bits cheaply from them bits they stripped off their racing 450s.
