Re: new Africa Twin - perfect adventure bike?
Think Honda has looked at the market and seen that the R1200gs is only slightly heavier. BMW can't make enough of them so I think the riders who will be buying the Africa twin won't really be worrying about the weight.

Re: Garmin 590 or TOMTOM 400

Then of one junction and back on again at the next as it saves 10 metres or 5 seconds it does not matter which mode you put them into. There have been so many times o...

Re: Best way to cross the Channel with a bike
Eurotunnel if you live within a few hundred miles.. The crossing takes 35 mins plus around 30 mins faffing about before you leave. The 2-2 1/2 hours you save over the ferry will get you well into France. If your travelling more than 300 miles then it's better to ferry as you can then build it into a...

I've always looked as unemployment benefits as a wage. Your paid to look for work or in my opinion you should have to work a certain number of hours per week for it. Helping in local community projects, volunteering in old peoples homes, work experience, further studies or even litter picking. I'm s...

I looked at the new GS1200 or the then new KTM990. Do you know what decided it in the end ? I opened up the Touratech catalogue and soon realised which was the most sorted of the two bikes.

Re: expensive bike gear im sick of it not working properly
I've had HG Gortex shit in the past, on one occasion I rode from the M25 to the Blackwall Tunnel. It's was raining not that heavey. Distance is what 15 miles. In that time I was soak on the chest elbows and the crotch. I walked into the HG store in Ilford. Stood there and explained I was getting wet...
