I have taken windows 7 off and re installed XP. Managed to load everything else back up.
Looking around the Computer forums, seems to be something that windows 7 dosen't like.

Hard drive failure, clean install of windows 7
Can't install adode photoshop CS5 on windows 7. or light room 3.3
