Fast run to Portugal
I will be getting the ferry to France late afternoon on Thursday 28th June so and need to be in Faro, Portugal no later than lunchtime on the following Monday Can anyone recommend hotels near Calais for night one and where to stay en-route to Portugal? Camp sites or hotels are fine. The route back w...

Re: How often do you clean your bike?
I do pretty much the same as you all except when on trip.
On a trip which is usually around 3 weeks I take a day off from riding every 5 or 6 days and wash my kit, wash the bike and check it over properly. Its usually a pleasant way to spend a morning in the sun.

Re: 'Monitor' screen for Garmin GPSmap 62s - anyone know of one?
Ram mounts are good and a few of my friends use them. Personally I made a "table" for my tablet using a couple of bits of plastic pipe and a piece of flat plastic as a top with a very technical elastic band holding the tablet. It sits tightly into a centre console cup holder in the Land Ro...

Re: ABC Jetski family weekend
Please don't tar us all with the same brush. There are cocks in every sport. Usually stand up riders are a little more wise. I certainly don't tar everyone with the same brush fella, I am sure the majority are good people who know what they are doing and just like off road bikes its the few numptie...

Re: ABC Jetski family weekend
I generally can't stand jetski's as too many twits use them without a clue about what else is in the water and what things mean. I have nearly been taken out a couple of times by them using my alpha flag as a turn point while I was coming up from beneath it. Great pictures here though, looks...

Re: Manchester arena bomb
I am hearing a lot of rumours that an event I am attending next month is a listed as at high risk of an attack. Is there such a list available to the public or is it just social media rumour control being busy again?
Not that it will stop me going as I am not giving in to these twats!

Re: Klim Powerxross Blue Large
Cack! I would have had this but think I would need an XL as I am 44 chest and large is listed on Klim size chart as 42-44 so may be too snug for putting something underneath it?

Re: Wilbers suspension
I have a Wilbers shock on my Tiger 1050. Had it made to suit with remote adjustment by those lovely chaps at Rev's in Wolverhampton.
Can't fault it at all. The bike handles like a dream with it and still does 6000 miles later.
