Re: Honda trail cub.

I must admit I was surprised when they told me they were taking deposits. The deposits they are taking are £100 fully refundable so I figured it was a good way to show how good the potential market for this bike is to Honda. Nothing talks like money. I really want one as a slow tourer. This year has...

Re: Honda trail cub.

They aren't sure on price yet but have taken 12 deposits (fully refundable) at this dealer alone and seem very confident they will get them. The last I heard was that we were just after the USA launch. The US only getting the red model. You'll have to pay us a visit again soon if you're in the area ...

Honda trail cub.

Well rang a dealer today to enquire about the trail cubs European release date only to find that they are taking deposits. Gave them my cash so I'm now on the list. The rumour is that it is an early 2021 release in Europe. Can't wait to start some micro adventures on it.

Re: Bikers ain't what they used to be.

In the past I have stopped to help when in the car to help another car that had run out of petrol. I took him to a Petrol station that was on the other side of the toll Bridge I had just come over. I then had to cross it a third time to get him back to his car and he never offered to pay the tolls. ...

Re: Bikers ain't what they used to be.

I was on my way home through France from a three week circumnavigation of Spain when I came across this guy pushing his scooter and sweating buckets. I had enough French to ask him if he needed help and he said that I was the first person to stop and offer in three hours of pushing. Reckon I did mo...

Bikers ain't what they used to be.

Me and the missus went for a ride out on separate bikes the other day. She didn't realise that her bike was switched to reserve and she ran out of petrol. She waited with her bike while I went for petrol. When I got back she told me that 10 bikes had passed without anyone even acknowledging her. It ...

Re: Padded shorts

As I have a few bikes I thought I would try some of these rather than change a number of bike seats. I must admit they do make a difference and have been used on a few longer euro trips. They are not as good as a quality seat but significantly cheaper and easily used on multiple bikes. They do feel ...

Re: Go Big and Ride Small

Good look. I'm sure the bike will be fine going up those passes, if a little laboured, but coming down might be scary.
