Cushion flooring over floorboards?

Hello lads, following the removal of old ceramic tiles I need to put some vinyl cushion flooring over old floorboards, in our bathroom. Due to the poor state of the floorboards I presume I need a liner of some type, such as 6mm ply?

Anyone with the relevant experience advise please?

The starter pack was huge, and when I told him where the battery was he was lost. I was unsure if you could jump start from the 'remote' live...i now understand that you can. :S

Left work at lunchtime yesterday to find my G650GS wouldn`t start, a flat battery! No worries i`ll call the RAC and get it recovered, thought I...so here`s the tale. Called the RAC at 12.34, who sent a man and a van, the man didn`t have any idea about bikes so passed the job on to a recovery vehicle...

Rode it.....Bishop Auckland, Hartside, Keswick, Cockermouth, Carlisle (M6), Moffat, St Marys Loch, Eskdalemuir, Langholm, Newcastleton, Greenhead, Whitfield, Nenthead, Stanhope and home....a steady 250miles/9.5hours ;0)
