Re: Elefant advice required

Buy straw and firewood straight after getting a pitch.
Put plenty of straw under your tent.
Take water and head ache tablets.
Leave your bikes up on the road unless you are riding gods or have plenty of time.
It it snows then get drunk.
If it rains then get even more drunk.

Reliable; Lots of miles and the only trouble has been bad electrical connectors and bearings. Leccys easiy cured by greasing all the connectors. I j...

Re: X Challenge - Fork Springs

I put Racetech springs and emulator valves in the XT and it made a huge difference. As mentioned; linear springs will do the job fine as long as the valves can do their job properly. Have a look here: http://www.racetech.com/ProductSearch/2/BMW/F800ST/2007-13 I bought mine through PDQ after emailing...

Re: Tough decision time

You have my sympathy. We're on the same road ourselves. Walked it before and you'd think it would get easier but it doesn't. If his life hasn't got anything in it worth living for any more then that's the time,I think. I'd recommend getting the vet round to the house. "Lord, look down on Thy Se...
