Cheers Jim . Rode the Triumph when it first came out, very disappointing I thought all revs and like a hoover. Yamaha sounds good and as you say more than the Triumph. Must make the effort and have a go on one soon.

Looking real good Jim . May you have many happy miles. One bike I really should have kept, the engine is a peach. Best 750 engine ever still going since the late 70's, says it all really.

XLRV Lusted after even now. Bike firm in/near Brighton was importing them in the eighties.Most numbers sold in France the red white and blue to celebrate French winners in Paris Dakar races of the period. Spares a nightmare. Lovely to look at.

Hampshire Motorcycles had one in their showroom at the end of February . They said they would have it on demo soon. Had a quick look and it looks ok considering the price.
