Well my cool covers doesn't work. Only 40 minute commute but in heavy rain recently I had wet undies. Pants only only cheap alpinestars but do the job well enough for commuting but not for touring any distance. Would love a rukka but they are like two times the cost 🫣

Had a pair for crimbo but the batteries did not arrive till this week, put batteries in for a ride just wondering how hot the button with the three lights is supposed to get, these get that hot you cant touch the switch with your fingers, also when i tried plugging into the bike battery it blew ...

I’m recently back from a Nairobi - Cape Town jaunt on my 850. It coped with everything remarkably well, including the corrugated and sandy Namibian gravel roads and some tough, broken roads in South Africa, including Die Hell.

Use one on long trips ( when I don’t use a top box) for stuff like sunglasses, visor cleaning kit and water bladder.
Normal riding at home, prefer to chuck stuff in a top box…

What is the best phone mount for a motorcycle?
Will be used offroad so needs to be very stable with no vibrations
Hold up to a 7" phone
Wireless charging an advantage but not essential
Not cost a fortune

In my part of the world (the north west bit of the south east) it’s virtually impossible to ride at the speeds we used to due to the sheer volume of traffic that seems to get heavier every year. I reckon that has contributed to a lot of riders switching from sports bikes, me included.

Berghaus gore-tex paclite jacket and troos have done the job pretty well for me - til I melted the troos on the exhaust
