Re: BMW F800GS - is it the best new GS model?

I have ridden one And I quite liked it... Not enough to buy one though... I found off road it was a bit tall in the gearing with absolutly no bottom end grunt.... Would I swap it for the 1150 not a chance ... This was when I ate more salads...

Re: KTM690 Enduro R or CCM GP450?

Re: Im crossing Switzerland next week on the E35 - do I need a vignette?

I have travelled across Switzerland several times, stayed off motorways and have never bought a Vignette Which, whilst a fascinating inside into your riding habits in the land of Toblerone, is not much use as information to the OP, who wants to use a motorway, is it? Two pages about a bloody vignet...

Re: Im crossing Switzerland next week on the E35 - do I need a vignette?

You have to attach the sticker to the bike, if you do not then you are still liable to the fine. The sticker is not transferable and cannot be removed from whatever screen it gets attached to as it disitergrates if you try to remove it.... It would be a reel kick in the bollox to buy one and then ge...

Re: The Suzuki DRZ400 S Thread ~ is it the best genuine allrounder?

David, glad you are happy with your DRZ, as are many others. I just wanted to even up the reviews in case a potential buyer might be misled. Maybe Suzuki changed the supplier for their fasteners towards the end of the models production, that happens a lot. The mods I listed are almost all well know...

Re: The Suzuki DRZ400 S Thread ~ is it the best genuine allrounder?

Before everybody goes out and buys a DRZ400S I would ask you to bear in mind that as standard the bike really requires a few modifications that can add up to a fair amount of investment in time and money. The main issue on road is a gearbox that has too few gears or the fact it is geared too low so...
