Re: Anyone going across the water in September... 7-9 days to wander
My wife is going to Majorca with her family in September, from the 12th to 24th, and I would be interested in joining you if possible. Are you thinking of camping or hotels? I have ridden in the Picos and Alps, but have not been to portugul.

Re: Where are you planning to ride in 2015?
Hi Boris the Bold. I am fancying a lap of Spain in 2015 to include Rhonda and Gibralta. I hoped to do it this year but Bulgaria got in the way. One of the mags did a route around Spain which should be a starter.

Re: August Bulgarian Rally.
Thanks Bushman. I will certainly look you up, though I have forgotten what Harold Shipman looks like ( was he a little guy with glasses?), and assume you do not possess any of his tendancies. I also do not know the Bulgaria flag, but if you are flying a flag and riding a yellow GS, then I will seek ...

Re: August Bulgarian Rally.
Whippet, I look forward to seeing you. I will be riding a red and black NC700x PJ12GOC with a screen extension, and should arrive on Friday evening. I have a Tomtom rider with western european maps, but have bought a car Garmin for eastern Europe. I have used the route suggested in the early posts, ...

Re: August Bulgarian Rally.
Maps and Sat Nav bought. Basic route planned. Anyone available at the Boil rally in May to offer a few pieces of advice to someone who has not visited eastern Europe before.
Thanks.
Thanks.

Chopper. See Crofty's post on page 5. He needs one more person to share a cabin on the 16th on the Hull Zeebruger crossing.

Re: Question for the over 60's
When I binned my tiger 955i, I downsized to a Honda NC700x. I am still covering the ground at the same rate, but using much less fuel, and enjoying the extra tank carrying space. I miss the Tiger engine power, and smoothness, and the comfy seat, also the mileage I could get from Metzler Tourance tyr...

Re: August Bulgarian Rally.
Crofty. I am in favour of booking a cabin for 4 on the 16th,and then everyone can arrange their own way home. I could camp at Calais, and then get the ferry to Dover on the way back. If 4 people agree, who is to book it, and what arrangements need to be made to pay that person, and get the tickets d...

Re: August Bulgarian Rally.
Hi Crofty / Whippet.
Keep me posted. We could perhaps share a cabin on the way out, and make our own arrangements for the homeward journey. Lets see what the price is.
