That picture of mine was top of Bar Rd ( near to the Wellington monument) which takes a right at top to Clodhall lane used to be open to horses and motorcycles.

It certainly looks like France at least has done some homework and is thinking about the future.
UK gov are trying their best I think. BUT. Dont seem to be as proactive as the French
