Re: Forst of Bowland campsites?

Just got back from a Royal Enfield Owners Club weekend. We stayed at this campsite http://www.calderfarm.co.uk/ it was basic in terms of facilities ie Good clean toilet and shower block and washing up area, but nice and quiet. One pub which I believe was more of a restaurant ten minutes walk away, ...

Re: Forst of Bowland campsites?

Facility are basic (toilet block & shower.) and we only have a few spaces so don't normally advertise. We'll be out all day Sunday but if you p...

Yeah, that's what I have been told too.... Wonder whether I can get a passout and head to wildcamping heaven instead.. and cross ...

Re: Maxi-Scooter's - Go Big and Ride Big

I ran a Swing a few years ago when I was struggling with a knee problem and needed the ability to stretch out. A Cruiser failed to appeal and I dropped on a Swing and bought it after a 5 mile test ride. Never ridden anything like it before :-) WE were together for a couple of years until I found a b...

I've had a pair of RoxRizer copies on my CCM for well over 3 years and about 15,000 miles of mixed on/off road riding. No issues, very secure.
That's reassuring to hear Paul. I am grabbing a pair of 2nd hand SW Motech units I think. Should do the job for me then... ;)

GS1200 Riser question?

Could anyone here with a GS tell me what is the spacing berween the two mounting bolts on each of the (28mm) handlebar clamps? Probs 40-50mm, but hoping 50mm!! Want to fit a riser/pullback on the SWM, but as they are 50mm spacing, the cheap and cheerful eBay items dont fit! I have looked at the full...

Re: Riding through France into the Alps - Help

Interesting little thread. I don't book to be honest, just the odd time in peak when I want to be in a specific location on a set time/date. This happens infrequently ;) The municipal sites are almost without exception, great. The only thing is that in high season, especially iif located n town, th...
