Re: Yamaha XT1200Z Owners
That makes sense with me. The day before my heated grips went off and whilst looking for the bad connection I turned the ignition on and off quite a bit. Took a week to clear though

Re: Yamaha XT1200Z Owners

Re: Yamaha XT1200Z Owners
Yes spinning up fine just won't fire. Same tonight. Will look at it at the weekend coz I work longish hours. To reply to the rest of your post - I get 53 to the gallon no matter what mode it's in, but generally only use touring when around town. I fitted crash bars and a large givi back box but bike...

Re: Yamaha XT1200Z Owners
Not a good day to ask that one for me. Wouldn't start this morning, no idea why, will be a call out job at the weekend when I have time. Apart from that, done 2000 miles on it and think it's brilliant. No issues other than today.

Re: Who gets back on?
After 20 years on sports bikes I was going to give up riding before I had an accident or got a ban. Wife "persuaded" me to get something more "grown up" Bought a GS and 3 months later had my first biggy. My fault I said, took some training and carried on. 3 years later bought a 1...

Re: XT1200z well, I gone and dunnit
I agree Bill, I think it's took a while for bike prices to rise and they have risen a lot over the last couple of years. I got mine 500 miler jan 11 for 10999, but the real deal came in the part ex which was some 1700 quid more than anyone else offered and only 100 quid less than what I had it adver...
