Re: Suzuki DL 650 V Strom 2011 (fully loaded)
It seems a good buy but sadly I've seen the advert too late to make a decision or organise a (long) trip to view. But I would be interested in your viewpoint of it - the weight of it is almost the same as my Honda CBF1000!

Re: Squiers cafe Friday evening meet
Hi Dave
Can't make the ride out - totally forgot I had an appointment at 9.30.
Hope you all have a great day - the weather was perfect today.
BTW - the cafe you've forgotten is called Aunt Sal's in Burton Fleming!!

Re: Squiers cafe Friday evening meet
Reading this at work, I must have skip read a few sentences - thought you were riding out Friday night!!
I'm off work on Friday, but plans still sketchy.
If available, I'll ride the CBF (on the assumption its not an off road ride).
D'you mean Manor Farm near Leyburn?

Issue 9 - Ireland
I read it with interest but the very last sentence doesn't seem to be finished "Death paid me a visit within sight of the ferry and, in a voice that sounded very much like my own, said, 'that was great you'd...........

Re: Squiers cafe Friday evening meet
I thought the point of meeting on a weekday evening was to decide where to ride out to over the forthcoming weekends? Since I only live 10 mins away from Squires, I rarely visit on my bike unless a ride out is expected (before or afterwards). Dave - Unsure whether I can meet this Friday as plans for...

Re: Yorkshire - Squires Cafe. Sherburn
Where were you all? Hi Dave Adele said she'd seen you. But unfortunately, I'm on-call this weekend and was called at 8.30 which didn't finish until 10.30. Shame that no one else made it. It didn't start snowing at Squires until 1.30pm. I like the idea of a mid-week evening meet. Saturday's and Sund...

Women on ABR
Been riding bikes 30 years (yes, I'm that old) & I love it. I can't stand the pink stuff & a lot of women's bike gear isn't made for serious riding. We're also meant to be sized 8-12 as anyone bigger is obviously seen as an unsuitable pillion..... There are women's bike clubs out there if so...
