FOR SALE. I have the first 20 issues of ABR, except for issue 7, and a selection of 15 assorted bike mags - Bike, Ride and Motorcycle Sport & Leisure.

Great cafe in Monyash, next to pub and great roads round there

Hartington has some good eateries
Monyash almost always has plenty of bikes parked up and grass to sit on if the cafe seats are full.

I took a quick blast up the M6 to have a couple of days ride in the Yorkshire Dales recently. On day 2, a Friday in May at 2pm and went to the renowned Penny Garth cafe. Rode the Picos with friends on their honeymoon, 8 bikes in all. Shame I collected 2 broken toes the day before when in Portugal. Big, heavy adventure bike fully loaded, 2 up. Imagine the fun i had changing gears and stopping, it was my left foot!

Had my first experience of the changes today. Sat at a roundabout waiting to go straight across. A car joins from the junction before mine indicating he wants the junction after mine. He passes me, I pull out, he then stops dead before the exit blocking the road to allow 3 youths with headphones on ...

Devon and Cornwall are trying to get back some of the money lost over the last 2 years same as the rest of us! That part of the country has mega appeal for those who haven't been away for two years and can't, for whatever reason, travel abroad so wait until you see prices during summer hols!
