I think they look like a pretty good bike for general trail riding too, especially for the money. Most owners I've seen have said they are better than a crf300 out of the box. I understand the GHIC thing-and as I understand it covers any Brit visiting based on the Gov website?-it covers the basics --at least in part---hence my question as to what is actually required by French law (or EU law?)----So when did this repatriation insurance come in--before Brexit?---I've neve...

If you're a UK resident you can't ride or drive your own foreign registered vehicle in the UK and have to register it in the Uk within two week of arriving. Since registration went online you don’t have any time to ride an imported vehicle before you register it. You are not even allowed to ride it...

So the 90 out of 180 days do matter. Does the bike stay in Belgium? If so why not register it there? The only downside of that is that you as a U.K. resident wouldn’t be able to use it in the U.K. A while ago I had a U.K. registered bike with 12 months cover. I used a company called Forces insurance...

Are you saying that your bike is out of the country for 12 months or yo7 use it to visit Europe regularly over a 12 month period? What nationality are you?
