Re: Good Looking Motorcycles That You’ve Owned
3 of my favourite bikes from god knows how many bikes over the years
Re: Kove 800x
That 702 is 35kgs heavier than the Kove and makes 20hp less - assuming the Kove numbers are right of course! Agree and that's going to be the Kove's USP but if it ends up being £2000 to £2500 more expensive then it might be an issue ... if they get the price right though then two great options in t...
Re: Kove 800x
I think the Benelli 720x at £6899 OTR is great value ... available in Sept .... I had the TRK520x and it was lovely but a bit underpowered, this looks like it might close that issue.

Re: Crf 300 Rally - The Adventure Begins
I have always had god knows how many bikes over many years ... sometimes I have swapped after just a few weeks (I might be about to do so again  ) ... whilst its often financially barmy ... I just love trying different bikes, I love most bikes ... I have gone from a ZZR14 to a C90 because I saw...

Re: Royal Enfield Himalayan - The Adventure Begins
Within reason weight for a bike used purely on the road is less important than the balance of the bike. It’s a different matter for a trail bike as you may well need to pick it up on difficult terrain. My most versatile bike is a 1989 BMW R100GS which I’ve owned from nearly new (ex demo, I think). ...

Re: Royal Enfield Himalayan - The Adventure Begins
The T700 is 205kg ... Weight is a funny topic ... my Benelli is a lardy 213kg  but its not always as straight forward as to published weights ... the Benelli is certainly weighty but that weight is with a centre stand as standard, and a rear rack fitted as standard and most riders end up fitt...

Re: Royal Enfield Himalayan - The Adventure Begins
This thread is a really interesting one ... as someone who has been through way too many bikes and lost tons of money doing it as well :D A big enough budget and a big enough garage and there is no problem as all needs would be catered for I guess? Having had large capacity bikes since I was 17 yrs ...

Re: Benelli TRK500x
Ohh dear....you've sold your sole to the devil....a sheep skin and remoulded seat would of sorted the xt660z...but your choice....a tdm900 would of been a better buy..... bit ott ... not sure how I have 'sold my sole to the devil'? or what that even means? ... however, yep the point about the...

Re: Benelli TRK500x
Cheers for the replies. Minkyhead ... thats a pretty good summary, I reckon that you need to accept that you will take a punt if selling on and its not like the XT660z which hold up well on value. I accept that ... my 2009 XT sold in around 45 mins of going on a well known aution site but it was pri...
