Re: Will Biden be assassinated?

My prediction is that Trump will hole himself up in Florida and start a social media campaign. I don’t think the majority of the American people will let him become president again but he has got enough supporters to get some southern states to break away from the union. I can see Farage becoming on...

Re: Simple, Merry Christmas everybody.

Merry Christmas to you Hugh and thanks to all your work trying to keep green lanes open.
Merry Christmas to all the other ABRers, sad that others are more interested in politics than Christmas cheer - I know which one has more impact on my life.
Cheers

Re: T700 v KTM 950 Adv

I’ve had brief rides on both so not much of a review I’m afraid. I rode my mates 950Adv whilst trail riding in the Alps - too narrow, top heavy and fast for me. Took the T7 out for a 2 hour, road only, test ride and loved it - comfy, smooth but fast and solid on the road. I ride a 1200gs and I’d go ...

Re: EU. In or out?

I believe that the one, very important, thing that politics has ignored over the years is human nature and it’s illogicality. Recently that has all changed - Trump, Brexit, rise of the right wing in Europe and beyond. As a remain voter I now believe the best course of action for Britain is a no-deal...

Her book is one, if not, the best travel books I’ve ever read - and I’ve read a lot.

Re: EU. In or out?

We have, at the very least, a moral obligation to allow for a transition period of several years (can be negotiated) to protect not only the livelihoods of the EU fishermen, but of our own fishermen as well. You can't imagine the EU is going to let us export fish to the EU if we put their fishermen...

Re: Wintering Overseas

Personally I found a little place in Portugal called Alvor many years back and I would happily spend 2 months overwintering there. It's a nice little fishing vllage with fantastic barbecued seafood to eat, reliable warm winter weather and some good journeys out to the West coast and inland. Plenty ...

Re: Wintering Overseas

My friends are flying out to Lanzarote this year as usual for their 90 days of winter sun. It is not on the quarantine list, at the moment, just tests going in and out. If it is on the list, by the time they comeback, it looks like the government will have something in place to bypass a quarantine. ...
