Re: Any recommendations for a mx/enduro bike?

Great advice thank you. My mx/enduro terminology just comes from someone who is unfamiliar with off road bikes and i just lump them all together as dirt bikes. I will contact the local TRF and ask their advice. Im 6'1 height wise so will look at the bike you suggested. As for the tracks they were th...

Re: Any recommendations for a mx/enduro bike?

I just didnt want to go out with the TRF or someone and be the guy holding everyone up cos he falls of every 10 seconds. Its just ...

Any recommendations for a mx/enduro bike?

Can anyone who likes a bit of green laning suggest a decent dirt bike? Basically I'd like to start riding offroad and never considered an enduro type bike as never thought there was anywhere in the North East to ride them consistently but just discovered there is. Apparently 2 strokes are no good fo...

Re: Ammo can panniers

@ desert storm, after looking at their website I was thinking of asking them to supply the whole rack as they are reasonably priced. Obviously if they need the bike there to make it them I will have to come up with something else.

cheers for the recommendation.

Re: Ammo can panniers

If you're after a fitting kit as well as frames, i can recommend www.heavyduties.ro The kit below cost 40 euro. They're in Romania but will post at cost or offer collection from N.London (near the Ace). PS, nothing to do with me but i was very impressed with their service & several other S10 ow...

Re: Ammo can panniers

I've got a couple of 20mm cans that I used on my f650gs. They've had a couple of bashes but worked really well. I also made them pad-lockable. :) I was gonna use them on the 1200gs but have a new plan in mind. ;) Whereabouts are you Mentok? If you can pick em up, they're yours pal. ;) :) You might ...

Re: Ammo can panniers

One of the surplus sites has 40mm cans which are a bit narrower but might be ok. The flight cases look like they would be ideal but are a bit small the ones I saw. Will keep looking though. Thanks again.

Re: Ammo can panniers

Great guys thanks for the replies. I could never understand why panniers cost so much but I will look at the site you suggested and if there is an ammo box store in the uk I would love to hear about it.

Now to make some frames.......
