It was an area I got to know very well in the 80s in my road rallying days the roads up Stocks Res & through the Trough were used regularly being quite narrow & twisty, given that some of the top guys were using BDA engines in near Group 4 spec Escorts, this of course being what killed it off eventu...

I did a compare check & got quite a few around £100 so I’ve gone with Devitt doesn’t include breakdown but I have that covered elsewhere I didn’t have time to mess as I’m going on holiday today I couldn’t risk leaving it uninsured.

I rang my insurer Lynbrook who’ve always been very good & I've recommended to others to insure the KLX250 my previous cb500x was £110 all in, they quoted me £268 for the KLX. :D Doesn’t seem sensible?

Been over that way today as we had a trial near Slaidburn, lovely area one of my favourite runs is through Trough of Bowland.

I’ve been picked at random by Imperial College London/NHS to take part in a research study it includes a COVID test by post which is collected by courier, I might as well join in.
