Re: PC or a Mac? What should I get?
There is no right or easy answer, it'd be easier and less controversial to say which bike you should buy! Either will do the job though how quickly will depend on what spec you go for, then it's down to personal preference and budget. After years of having to use Windows machines for work I switche...

Re: Driveshaft problem
How about AT's front sprocket spline failure Not quite the same as the AT spline was as a result of over tightened chains I agree that most bikes have their own issues, but most are not as catastrophic failures a a final drive and not within such apparently low miles. I'm not slagging BMW's off as ...

Re: Tiger damage
There certainly seems to be a lot of damage considering the speed, I never actually got to see the extent of the damage after my off last february that was a 60mph impact and as it turns out wrote the bike off....I understand the rear peg took some impact and bent the subframe, I don't think bolt on...

Re: Do crash helmets increase road deaths?
if some people feel that riding a motorcycle is a risk, well then maybe they should not ride a motorcycle Most activities have an element of risk, why wouldn't you want to reduce that risk if it was easily achievable, It doesn't mean you are fearful of what might happen more a case of minimising th...

Re: Do crash helmets increase road deaths?
I've had two relatively big accidents in the last five years and judging from the state of my helmets in both instances I wouldn't have made it without them. Had the Helmet law not been passed in the 70's the likelihood is I wouldn't have been wearing one so its a big thank you from me to those inte...

Re: Ace US Ural sidecar report - with added canine :)
I've been reading a bit about them this morning and unless i've got it very wrong the sidecar must be on the left to get an MOT in the UK Does this make all the old urals outfits illegal? I've heard that most have them altered to the left thus losing the 2 wheel drive. also heard a couple of storie...
