Re: Go Big and Ride Small
Its more or less a ttr125 (also in the ybr) engine, so yep air cooled. They are low on power, but really... You gotta view them as somewhere between mtb and trail bike, for which 125 is about right. For about £500 extra you can stick a rekluse clutch and a 160cc bore kit on them, but i dont think it...

Re: Go Big and Ride Small
The trick is to drop your horsefeed on a light incline infront of a group of ramblers. Embarrassment is the ultimate strength motivator! Seriously though, yes 80ish kg isnt featherweight but theres almost no weight above the engine... Real easy to catch on a slope or lift off its side. They are scor...

Re: Go Big and Ride Small
Those look great. Tell us what they're like to ride. The most confidence inspiring bike I think I've had in a long while.... Just end up riding up/over everything, they lift the front wheel like a trials bike. We've had a beta alp 200,serow 225, scorpa t ride, 250l etc in the past and these deffini...

You'll have to dodge all the t5 campers at Coed-Y-Brenin.
Are you looking for true 'wild-camping' or more of an off-grid campsite?

Re: Ferry bookings .... Refunds ??
We made the wise choice of traveling in late february and then got completely cut-off in the mountains of Portugal when the lockdown came into effect, mad dash to get on the last ryanair flight out of Portugal, our vehicle is now sitting at Lisbon Airport and we're being quoted £2000+ to have it shi...

Re: Sri Lanka
Did a loop of the whole island back in 2016 on xr250 bajas (probably the same bikes/company you're renting from?)... We did about 70% offroad. Took about 12 days. Beautiful country / roads... There were some pics in my rtw thread... Not sure if it still exists. I have some gpx routes somewhere I thi...

Re: A photo you took, today
Fortunately, I wasn't at the front at this point... We live about a mile from this trail, it's been getting progressively deeper over the last 6 months, to the point where I now send the dog in to see how much of it he swims and how much he walks. Impressed by your commitment 8-) , last time ...
