Thanks for the prompt reply, point taken, I know first hand how heavy the Vara can be. I'll give the Off Road a miss, but still looking forward to the event.

How technical is the Off Road ride out, I have a Varadero (Big One) with road tyres and have never been off road, in fact I haven't been riding that long. Obviously I'm keen not to total the bike but would like to give it a try.
What do you think??
