I always use a drip oiler, normally set to a robust flow, so it washes grit & dirt out as well as lubricating.

I barely have to adjust the chain, until very near the end of it's life (Normally around 22-25k miles)

As someone that's spent the last 20 years doing a 110 mile round trip commute into London, I'd rather other bikers stayed at home!! :lol: It's bad enough in Summer when the bus lanes & other gaps that have been free all winter are suddenly full of people who either have no idea how wide their bikes ...

Mine is staying taxed, it's £7 a month & I may need it for transport/shopping etc. if the car breaks (unlikely).

Won't bother, it's only £7 a month or so. I'll use it for some essential shopping at some point no doubt, useful to have it ready to go just in case something happens to the car etc....

I'm wondering if this is the "Phoney Lockdown" period. There'll be a bit of confusion & people will continue to take the piss. But the powers that be are quietly putting the infrastructure in place behind the scenes. In a week or 2, it'll get a bit more "official" & won't be so easy to flout - that'...
