Hi, not sure the reason why but the guy who had my 91 model before me put rmx250 forks on it, they are 4mm fatter than standard ones, 52mm over the dr's 48mm.
No idea if it helps the ride as I haven't ridden a standard one to compare, but I don't appear to have had any more or any less "technical ...

Well the time has come to sell the old girl, I've had the bike about 7years with a little break of about a 18months when I sold it to an uncle but then got it back again,
Just prior to its last mot I put on new:-
Front mudguard
Upgraded headlight
Front and rear wheel bearings
Front brake pads
Rear ...

Brenhden- what litre tank is that on your dr? Was it on there when u had it? Only wondering how the bigger tank full of fuel would feel weight wise on the bike, I think mine is 9 or 11 litre
