Advice on potential new bike wanted
Hi all, I`m thinking about a `97 Triumph Tiger 900 as a replacement for my stolen XTZ. Can anybody advise as to what these are like to live with, and any known issues/faults. Its a `97 bike with 36000 miles. The S10 was possibly my favourite ever bike, so is the Tiger a good replacement or should I ...

Re: Bike industry jobs?
Sorry to hear the bad news! I can see what these guys are saying about combining your pleasure with work. But I have never been happy now im working for Metal Mule! Just get chatting to your local dealers/motorcycle business and try to work out who would be good to work for! Good luck with the hunt...

Insurance for older bikes

So according to my policy they base the valuation on a guide book price, but due to the age of the bike they`re not listed. So the...

Re: i think everyone should read this
Unfortunately this seems to be true for a lot of charities. We had a guy knock on the door recently who claimed to be raising money for cancer research by selling scratchcards. He was trying to get you to commit to £2 per week by direct debit to "help look after the sick and their families"...

Re: Just to rub salt in!!!
Not sure yet. Depends on what insurance pays out and what I can find at the time. I liked the S10 so if I can get another at a reasonable price then probably, although I must admit to looking at a couple of Varaderos (shhhhh....dont tell the missus, she dont know that yet

A shiny pair of Renthal Dakar High Bars in blue with matching reinforced hand guards. They were purchased a couple of days before the bike got taken! Anyways, I`ll add th...

Re: Accident caused by illegal off-roaders
Sorry to hear about your accident Sprockette, you're ok thats all that matters the bike is replaceable even if it has caused a major inconvenience. There's no excuse for their behaviour, they ruin the reputation of people who ride trail bikes legally, the little scrotes need hanging from their repr...

Stolen Bike Pt2
Hi again, Not its not to report that its been found but to complain about insurance companies. Having found my bike missing this morning I first rang the police. I gave them details, they gave me a claim number, and said they`ll keep an eye out for it. Next rang the given number on my policy doc. Th...
