Re: Long Way Up

I agree that they may not be special but for some/most they are still interesting and enjoyable to watch. In my case they go to places that I will either never be able to afford to go or can't get to due to disability although given the chance/opportunity I would still love to give it a damn good tr...

Re: Neotec or system 7 carbon

Remember that if you buy the comms kite at the same time as the helmet, then you don't have to Pay VAT on the Comms kit. Helped a bit to ease the pain at Dick Lovett's in Bristol. Pickup the helmet this week Do you have a link to any further information on this as I cannot find anything that says t...

Re: New m.o.t laws etc

The changes coming into force on the 20May 2018 only apply to cars BUT there are changes coming for motorcycles but they will be applied at a later date. https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/mot-special-notice-01-18-inspection-manual-and-in-service-emission-data/mot-special-notice-01-18-inspec...

Re: Hard or soft luggage?

Mixture of both works well for me... http://www.pbase.com/deksawyer/image/166635738/large.jpg I had a really good look at the Mosko Moto gear at the bike show and although I love my Ali Panniers that Mosko gear looked great and having spoken to the guys on the stand for quite a while I am seriously...

Re: Comfy seat

I think I am the odd one out on here then as I really love my R1200GSA's seat. When I first bought it, it had the standard height seat on it but I was a bit off balance when the wife was climbing on and off so I bought the standard BMW Low seat then rode it to France and back, about 1500miles over t...

Re: Neotec or system 7 carbon

The wife and I are both in the market for new Helmets as well and I have the list down to the C4 or the System 7. Although the new Schubert comms system is expensive I really like the way the unit fits into the helmet with no external wires or microphones as they are already built into it at the fac...

Re: Falco Aventour or Forma Adventure Boots - Recommended or not

I have the Forma Adventure and love them comfy on the bike, warm and waterproof, I suppose my only criticism is that if you want to do a lot of walking around in them I find them a little uncomfortable after a while, so for that reason I just carry a pair of comfy boots that I can change into or if ...
