LOved my AP50. Went through 3 engines hammering it to work and back as an Underkeeper when I hit 16. My mates had fs1e and dt50s. slow and shit compared the suzi 'ass pucker'50. good times.

Spare keys for the bike, panniers, lock. Give them to your travel buddy (if you have one with you)!! Lost keys or keys shut into panniers can end the trip quicker than a ferry workers strike!!!! Like others have said already go on a 3-4 day trip with what you 'think' you need for 2 weeks. Leave ...

mac60 I lowsided 8 weeks ago dislocating my AC joint, torn rotator cuff and torn ligaments, no fractures luckily!! I too am still in severe pain but back to work 3 weeks ago (construction). I've seen the RR stuff before. Looks good and i'm sure if i was heading toward rtw ambitions that would be the way to go. So far for me the standard bike is great at most things i throw at it. I live on a farm so have access to off tarmac fun & so far it copes with all but mud plugging in the woods ...

Newbie to this site so first of all HI. I did this a while ago with a GS forum. I live 10 minutes from Poole-Cherbourge ferry terminal in south Dorset. Garden will take several tents, garage has room for 2 more bikes with tools to hand. Very private in a hamlet of just 5 houses so a good night's kip ...
