Re: My 690 has been cloned!!

I am exonerated!
Just had an email to say my bike is obviously nothing like the one in the speed camers images.
I won’t rush to change my reg number unless I get stopped for being on the ANPR database.

Another bike in a slightly yellow field on a cross country course.

The bag the helmet was in fell off the bike on the way home and someone ran it over.

Re: Classics

There is interesting article in this month’s Octane magazine Richard.
Relates more to rules of eligibility and safety but made sense to me.
I’ll see if it will photograph well enough to be readable later.

Re: F700GS Owners

I’ve been reading that Richard. It is worrying although my regular use but low mileage may work on my favour. I went through so much trauma to get this bike I’m torn between two stools. I’ll see what happens when P&H have done their stuff. As you know, the KTM Forum has been all over the cam iss...

Re: F700GS Owners

In my experience, the majority of faults in modern vehicles are not vehicle faults, just sensor faults. Luckily most can be cured with the judicious application of a small piece of masking tape over the offending part of the display. And don't get me started on replacing haptic switches with touchs...

Re: It's the Guardian again...

...apparently, the Peak District rangers have to collect approximately 60 tonnes of litter every year...that can't be good for wildlife... Walkers and cyclists seem to be the main culprits. The cyclists watch too many pro races so just lob it into the nearest hedge. Seen that many times, even to th...
