What about all the car parks and parking on verges when the car parks are full?

Re: Helmet rebuild.

I’ve found the Nolans very noisy compared to my Arais but they are really comfy and the sun visors are great.

Re: Satnav vs Mounted Phone

Very late on this thread.... I have been using navigation for yonks, still have the Garmin Zumo 550 albeit, this is a replacement unit. Sadly, one of the rubber covered buttons is going and it's not really cost effective to fix in some ways, BUT, I have Lifetime maps on it.... I have a Montana for ...

Re: premium fuel in a non premium bike ...?

Local Fuels down here in East Sussex have been doing E0 in ordinary unleaded for ages but I haven’t had cause to see if they still are. As far as I know, they haven’t done super unleaded.
My car has to have super and I put it in both bikes because the price difference isn’t sufficient not to.

Re: Beeline sat nav, are they any good?

Does anyone here use the Beeline Sat Nav for on-road use only? I like the size of it but I don't know what it's like to use in practice and does it drain the battery on your mobile quickly because I think it's always using an App (unless I'm wrong) ? I like it's function where you can set your dest...

Re: Photo chain link...

Link - I too was enjoying an ice cream when I took this photo. We rented a cottage in Camusterrach (in a car, sadly) back in the 90’s but had dinner in the pub nearly every night. Hope it is still as good as it was then plus the sunsets are incredible. Liked the Highland cattle grazing on the beach...

Bar end mirrors?

I’m not sure if the standard Norden mirrors are causing wind noise as taking them off doesn’t make a massive difference but I liked the lack of visual intrusion. Does anyone have bar end mirrors on a bike with handguards and how do you get on with them? These look interesting and at a tolerable pric...

Re: Consultation - motorcycles to use bus lanes.

Done. The day I went looking for a 950SM, a Saturday back in 2008, I started at P&H to try a used bike, stopped off in Croydon to cross check with a ride on a Speed Triple then set off for Brackens, just off the Old Kent Road. There was an experimental bikes in bus lane trial going on so my whol...
