It will be interesting to see how many of those who joined the clap last year will join this one.

Re: Covid 19 Coronavirus
If I had voted for that extra 350 million a week for the NHS I would be expecting a significant amount to be going towards nurses pay. I didn't, but I did vote for the Lib Dems when they suggested the penny on tax for the NHS. Once again the Tories are using a financial crisis to hammer public secto...

Re: Covid 19 Coronavirus
After all these years of Tory lies, I don’t know why I am surprised or even disappointed by yesterday’s budget. No pay rise for nurses or other key workers, together with cuts to front line NHS services. Anyone remember what the fuck we were clapping for.

Re: The Plight of the Bumblebee
If I was going back to BMs it would be an original one for me. I don’t need all the electrickery, flash bits, extra weight, extra complications and expense of the new ones. Having said that it looks good and I can see the appeal. Perhaps I should paint some yellow stripes on my Himalayan.

This site still offers an overview of the current situation in each country, I gues as with the UK even when there is a plan it may change due to new variants etc.

Re: ABR Festival 2021
Once again the rules seem a bit confusing, but it seems outdoor events with up to 4,000 people can run from 17th May. This presumably means motorcycle rallies as well.

Re: Latest on Norton
I think the recent announcement of Mahindra purchase of the BSA name and their intention to produce motorcycles with that name in England alongside TVS’s purchase of Norton is interesting. These companies are already large players in the motorcycle industry and are not buying these names due to some...

Re: Other Stuff
Hi Gary, what is your NC700 like. In particular how low is it, what sort of range do you get out of a tank and is it easy to fit luggage to? Is yours the auto version, if so does it still have a rear brake lever or have they shifted the bot( brakes to the bars? Thanks

Re: What’s happened to all the cheap bikes
I reckon once lockdown is over and people go back to work they will get tired of having that unfinished project sitting in the garage. One of my brother’s neighbours has bought three bikes in the past year to do up, he has not ridden a bike for years. Once he starts finding out how much the price of...

Re: Eric's back.
In theory the original Buell Ulysses had a lot going for it, in some ways coming closest to a lightweight big adventure bike than any other at the time. Even though it had on paper a fairly high seat height, the shape of the seat meant that it wasn’t too bad to clamber on and off or get your feet do...
