But here’s my current bike BMWf800GS. I’ve had three of them and I think they look great.
A few years ago I had a KTM 450exc kitted out for road book rallying. A nice looking bike.

Yes I agree, dicking about with the gearing on some bikes will have its advantages. But I’d definitely leave the gearing stock with the f800gs. But…..If I had to alter the gear ratio, I’d go one tooth up on the front sprocket with the f800gs…..the engine has plenty of torque to pull the extra tooth ...

Yes it forced the tyre off the rim, took out the chain and the mousse ended up outside the tyre.

I used to think people talked a lot of unfounded bollox about mousses over-heating and expanding, when used hard on road in hot conditions.
