You should not powder coat wheels. They need a hard anodised coating (hard means thicker than normal)

I'd be interested in hearing why you say they should not be.

Central Wheel have been powder coating rims for a few years. If there was any problem it would have surfaced by now and they would ...

Had a x2 one for my drz

Hopeless wish i'd never got it :evil: no room for it at all to fit obviously different bikes have different kit cables etc but fitting was daft IMHO

Two sayings spring to mind:-

Regarding the weight. Who in their right mind buys a 200kg+ bike to regularly ride 'off road'? The Africa Twin, big KTMs, BMWs etc are very capable of easy trails and dirt roads but the British version of 'off ...
