Trail Stick (Ugly Stick) For Sale

Trail Stick (Ugly Stick) For Sale. I was making one of these for myself and decided to make a few more in case anyone else wanted one. They are 280mm closed and 480mm at the highest setting. The pin and clip are stainless and the sticks are zinc plated to stave off rust. They include a Velcro strap...

Re: Sellers - read this before posting up a 'for sale'

An "ugly stick" seems to be the name given to an adjustable prop used to support one end or the other of a motorcycle with only a side stand, to enable a wheel to be removed. This is to facilitate puncture or other repairs on the trail or road. I wonder if I could get a job compiling dicti...

Re: Sellers - read this before posting up a 'for sale'

Alun, I'm making myself an ugly stick and wondered whether to make a few more if anyone wanted one. BUT Just been reading the rules on selling and it might appear that it was a trade sale! I’m a retired engineer and would be making them as a hobby. The cost would be the cost of the materials plus a ...

A bit out of your way, but Oakenclough Buildings in Garstang do a large variety of substantial sheds.

Re: ccm gp 450 happy day

I can also recomend Magadan panniers. I used them on a 3000 mile tour through the Pyrenees and French Alps on my GP450. The supplied inner bags appeared completely waterproof and the panniers adapt well to variable capacities.

Re: Dualsport bike - any hints

Last year I did a 3000 mile solo tour around the Pyrenees, French and Swiss alps on a CCM GP450. A bit boring at 70mph on motorways but other than that ideally suited for alpine passes and off road trails whilst carrying a reasonable amount of luggage in panniers and a topbox. Light enough to pick u...

Re: Tutoro chain oiler

My Tutoro installation on my CCM GP450 I made my own reservoir attachment bracket and used stainless P clips to fix the tubing because that's how I am. I can't help it. Thank you to others who have posted info. It all helps. IMG_20161221_163512_1024x768.jpg IMG_20161221_163521_1024x768.jpg IMG_20161...
