Thanks for the quick replies guys. So in short I will be treating the Honda rally to the good stuff from now on, hoping to further break the 90mpg. I swear the last few fill ups of super unleaded the bike was slightly quick and rev'ed better, maybe I was just imagining it...

Does higher octane fuel make much difference? I notice Tesco has momentum 99 and places have 97ron over the standard 95ron.

Is it worth 10 or 15p difference a litre?

Just clocked 5,000 miles on my rally, highway & dirt 50/50. Liking it better now john from rally raid has cranked up the preload on the rear shock. Ortlib luggage fits well with no side racking.
