Re: Vaude Mark 3

It must be 10 years old, but, absolutely waterproof and in good condition.

You're in Poole? Our children/grandchildren are in Poole, so could drop it that way

Vaude Mark 3

Vaude Mark 3, good condition, 're-strung' poles earlier in the year, rock steady in the worst of weather, a top quality tent, with footprint and Y Vaude pegs. Lovely tent, goes up and packs really quick. £120 plus post or pick up from sunny Weston super Mare

Re: Multi-bike policies

I've had a policy with Hastings for the last 3 years, just for the one bike. Yesterday added my daughters 125 to it which I'm buying from her. No problems, just added to the policy, separate Insurance Certificate provided, all for the princely sum of £60 :) no drama... other than opting for no pilli...

Re: BMW R1150GS

Very nice indeed, you'll enjoy the torque. get yourself over to UKGSER, look for the posts from GSJohn, he programmes ECU chips which increase torque, HP and MPG, and they work :)

Wither MotionX GPS

Anyone else use the app? Still on my iPhone, but the data and service seems to have gone AWOL, MotionX Road and Terrain maps not available.

Wonder if it's been pulled by the developer?

Re: Jupiter's Travels - again

Interested to hear there's a Kindle version, will give that a go. I last read it as a spotty student (at Oxford don't you know) in 1983. I'd like to say it inspired me, it did to get out on the bike, but never managed anything further than Europe! Sadly lent my copy to a friend who became a vicar......

Re: **Into the west**

Just a shortish ride today, west into the highlands. Back roads to Inverness to check on an elderly native – all OK but can’t come out to play cos its muvvers day, apparently  . Onwards to the west via really little roads, some having dirty detours leading off of them into the hinterlands. Di...

Re: Lomo 60 L roll bag

As all have already said, huge, waterproof and versatile. Mine was the bright yellow one, handy for car drivers to notice. But it is huge, so big that it blocked the mirror rear views when used across the rack/seat! Since given away to a friend
