Until a couple of years ago there was almost a monthly event on here. I do miss these kind of gatherings and would very much like to see them reinstated. The Events Calendar on the site is pretty empty.

I am more than happy to help in organising as well (based in London).

Talking about weekend events really - you are right I should have clarified.

Rideouts would be fantastic as well.

A few ride outs would be good, give us newbies a chance to meet some of you guys face to face.........if that's a good idea ?

As a long time member on here...got parole for good behaviour lol...i used to do a few weekend camp meets and rideouts....

Everyone who came had a great time unfortunately i got fed up with being the only one in my area doing them...its down to folks...

Find a camp site and preferably local digs for non campers...and the ride out leaders is normaly not a problem both road and trails...i liked the smaller events...it dosent need to be hard core as we are mostly getting older...

Try your hands at it ,its not hard and most folks are truely gratefull...it dosent need to be extravagant either...

Never managed any of Tramps dirty weekends

But as he said it take a lot to organise and it is always the same people having to lead and organise.

I do think that maybe though a few of us could organise something if only for a small group or even just a days riding.

My introduction into the ABR family was this rideout a cracking day learnt a lot and had some great fun

I would love to help organise something but due to family commitments I cant always commit the necessary time need.
