Well started this new blog, it somthing ive been thknking about for a while now , but just havent had the time.

Ive been in the garage trade now for a bit longer than I care to remember, worked in a few garages whilst doing my time, and ended up building rally cars for a number of years for a specialist garage, but I can honestly say that working with bikes gives me much more  satisfaction  in work, it doesn't feel like going to work , I now go to work to play ha ha . Im on different bikes every day and its so interesting to see and ride a great variety of bikes. Ive been on bikes from the early 1900,'s to the present day, and one thing never ceases to amaze me is how many people present their bikes for an mot with nearly flat tyres, and they cant even tell that their nearly flat, and some of thses guys have been riding for more than 20 years its unbelievable how the bike rides, I wheel them in after loging on and within 2/3yards I can instantly tell that the tyers are flat. Com on boys n girls check your tyre pressure it could save your life. When I test ride a bike with flat tyres it handles like a battery operated camel.

But hey ththey're only flat on the bottom. Most people do make an effort when it coms to mot, ing a bike, but cars nop, very little effort is made some dont even have water in the wash bottle, and some windscreens are so badly scratched that you struggle to see out of them, how people manage I dont know, I couldnt live with it scratched could you?.

Mot's are changing all the time, with different sections being added . But its all in the name of safety, after all an mot test is just a safety check to ensure the vehicle is safe for the road, and we all want to be safe on the road don't we?.
