I don't have a lot of free time but love getting out on my bike. This is my escape. I am addicted to adventure motorcycling books and have just about exhausted the shelves of my local Waterstones book shop.

The bike I dream of owning
The new Triumph 800 Tiger is looking good. Changed my mind a BMW 800GS could be my next bike.
Past Bikes
Started on a Suzuki GP100 in 1981, Passed my test on a Suzuki X7. Other bikes, 1962 Triumph T100SS, Kawasaki Z650, Yamaha Virago, Yamaha Dragstar, 2003 Varadero.
Best Times
A charity ride in 2009. Rode through 15 countries in 16 days covering 6000 miles. First adventure and it was awsome, raised £3500 for charity to boot. April 2012 riding to the Sahara.
Worst Times
When I had to sell my 2003 Vardero last September. Having completed my first adventure on it, there were tears. But I have now replaced it with a 2007 model.
Previous Adventures
Initial adventure was to the South of France in 2008. Then, Belgium, Netherlands, Germany, Czech Republic , Austria, Slovenia, Slovakia, Hungary, Poland, Croatia, Bosnia-Herzegovina, Italy, Andorra, Spain, Portugal, Morroco.
Planned Adventures
A few on my bucket list. Do-able Nordcap, Turkey and Romania. Not so easy! overland to India.
