Hope you don't mind a pm out of the blue. Live in local area and wondered if you knew if there was an active abr group in the area. Ride a GSA and looking to catch local like minded folks? Forum looks quiet in sw area but may not be representative of what's happening?

Also considering some advanced riding, considering wabam(iam) or rospa, wonder with your abr role if you or abr had any views on either?

Hi Rob,
Welcome on board. I started the SW group which started off really active, but then fizzled out with a lack of interest.
Could do with a new impetuous.
The rallies are still popular and the midlands one in a couple of weeks time will be well attended, so if you fancy a weekend of camping and riding its a must or just pop along for a few hours to say high, it's only up the road from Chippenham.
Re IAM, ROSPA etc, all are very worth doing, which is my personal point of view as a retired police advanced rider.
With a bit of notice we could meet up for a ride, how are you fixed on weekdays as I work from home some of the time.

Let me know

Hi peejay.many many thanks for your good offer. I will bear this in mind. I see you have completed maroc again in 2012. I've read so much great stuff on abr forums lately,is there a report on your 2012 tour? I spoke to alun a few days back. I will post up the oxygen thread and tech request possibly as a separate thread in a few days. I'm trying to get info via smile oxygen and Honda uk. It's a nightmare and not as simple as plug n play.
The klim gear was expensive but so light, unreal. Never held or wore a textile suit that light before. I see your the abr gear editor?
Are there any other suits that come to mind excuse poor spelling. My pc is beingvrepaired and I'm tapping on a pad. So much slower.
Thanks again :-)

GS Brit
Hi Peejay
Have you been to Morocco recently? Like in the last couple of weeks? My boss was in Gibraltar recently and text me to say he'd met 3 ABRers from Bris who said knew me. He forgot to ask for names etc so it's really bugging me who it might be. Where abouts in Bristol are you? Are you on UKGSer site. Thought I'd recognised your name. Steve B
