Evening all,
My Garmin zumo 660 is now no longer starting on the buton. It will load and then not even get to the home screen and shut down again. I have to repeat this process around 5 times before it will actually get to the home screen. Anyone else had this issue? Can it be resolved or is it time to throw it?

Re: Garmin Zumo 660 Failing Me
If it is time to change it , (assuming a reboot won't work) you'll find that your 660 is no longer supported by Garmin so they won't repair it for you, so how about taking advantage of Garmin's ' Trade in- Trade Up' deal?
I did when my 660 stopped working, the price was far cheaper than even the internet sheds could come up with, and it was much , much cheaper than Currys and the usual suspects were quoting.
Seeing as mine was u/s and probably went straight in the bin, I don't know how they offer such a good deal on a new 695

Does the 695 use the same connectors and cradle as the 660?PaulinBont wrote: ↑Wed Oct 04, 2017 7:37 pm If it is time to change it , (assuming a reboot won't work) you'll find that your 660 is no longer supported by Garmin so they won't repair it for you, so how about taking advantage of Garmin's ' Trade in- Trade Up' deal?

I bought a new TT lockable mount and powered cradle for it

Ok further on from earlier. I have spoken with garmin and they belive the unit can not be fixed. They did offer a exchange for another 660 then realised that they didnt make it any more so offed the buy up proccess. I think for now i will have to stick it out with this one until it completly packs up. Luckily im not planning on going out of the uk until next year

Re: Garmin Zumo 660 Failing Me
I have to buy a new unit from them at full RRP. Then they would send me a return bag for old unit and on confirmation that it's knackered they would give me a 25% refund from the new unit
