I built one of those but not half as good back in the day. Ford pop black and chrome, 2/4 seat, mini speedo on the light, hagon shox, dunstal decibel and almost flat bars. Another why did I sell that bike. see I knew I was a trend setter just a bit early
The secret of a long life is knowing when its time to go.

not a custom place but she would be more than welcome to get some work exp.in my workshop.
it would be "the luck of the draw" as to what bikes were in to work on.but worst case if it was a quiet week i could find an engine for her to strip and teach her how to fit tyres,a bit of welding perhaps.
a good week maybe a few 1200 final drive rebuilds, some servicing and some restoration on some 80's stuff.

To save me doing too many PMs ( cos Im lazy...)

Bike is in Alton Hampshire , it is complete but has the tank and seat removed plus some of the minor components ( all present and engine can still be run )..the bike has been standing outside but covered but has plenty of surface rust ( although the exhaust chrome has surived remarkably well)..
Owner has all the documents ..its a 1998 on an R
Bike will need to be trailered away..

Photos this weekend..hopefully somebody can turn it into something interesting as I am sure the owner would love to see it turned into something nice

sorry if this has hijacked somebody else thread..I just saw an opportunity to help out a mate ....

i dont want to be rude but some of these flat trackers and cafe racers are nothing more than standard bikes with the back cut off and big tyres, yet the sellers seem to think they are worth £1000's.retro seems to be almost as cool as adventure bikes at the mo!
